Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

Assets Group is seeking a highly motivated Senior Procurement Officer to lead procurement activities in Damascus. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely, cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle from sourcing to delivery follow‑up.
• Obtain competitive quotations, conduct commercial evaluations, and negotiate pricing and contract terms.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and drive process improvements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare periodic reports.
• Support contract administration and vendor management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction, real estate, hospitality, or diversified business environments.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Based in Syria or willing to relocate to Damascus.
