Supply Chain Senior Officer – Idlib & Ma'arrat al-Nu'man

About the role

MedGlobal is seeking a Supply Chain Senior Officer to support a strategic early‑recovery grant in north‑west Syria. The position bridges civil‑engineering specifications with humanitarian procurement processes, ensuring that rehabilitation of health and educational facilities meets the highest standards of quality, compliance and value for money.

Key responsibilities

• Review and translate civil, WASH, electrical and infrastructure rehabilitation requirements (BoQs, drawings, specifications) into complete tender dossiers.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure all tender documents comply with humanitarian procurement rules.
• Act as the technical anchor for procurement, providing engineering insight throughout the tendering and award phases.
• Monitor and verify that contracted works adhere to technical specifications and quality standards.
• Support the Country Supply Chain Manager in reporting and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Qualified civil engineer with strong procurement and supply‑chain experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in humanitarian contexts and follow strict compliance guidelines.
• Experience in rehabilitating health or educational facilities in conflict‑affected settings.
