About the role
Key Time Solutions is looking for a skilled VoIP Engineer to design, implement and maintain FreePBX and Asterisk based telephony platforms. The role involves ensuring high‑availability communication services, integrating with CRM and live‑chat tools, and providing technical support to customers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain FreePBX and Asterisk systems.
- Manage SIP trunks, endpoints, gateways and VPN connectivity for remote devices.
- Troubleshoot call quality, routing, registration and network‑related VoIP issues.
- Configure IVR, call queues, ring groups, voicemail, call recording and failover routing.
- Monitor system performance, security and conduct backups, upgrades and disaster‑recovery planning.
- Integrate the telephony platform with CRM applications and live‑chat solutions.
- Analyze SIP traces using Wireshark and Asterisk logs.
Required profile
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with FreePBX and Asterisk.
- Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, NAT and VoIP networking concepts.
- Proficiency in Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky Linux).
- Experience integrating VoIP systems with CRM and live‑chat platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and provide clear written communication.
