Warehouse Manager

About the role

Transmed, founded in Lebanon in 1943 and operating around 37 distribution centers across 10 countries, is looking for a Warehouse Manager for its growing Transmed Syria operation. You will run warehouse operations end to end, from inbound receiving to outbound dispatch, with a focus on stock accuracy, efficiency, safety and service to sales teams and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch for multiple brand portfolios
• Keep inventory accurate through cycle counts, stock reconciliation and FEFO/FIFO control, especially for food products
• Lead, schedule and develop the warehouse team, including storekeepers, pickers and drivers
• Coordinate with Sales and Finance on order fulfilment and delivery schedules
• Enforce health, safety, hygiene and storage standards
• Track and report warehouse KPIs such as accuracy, order lead time, damages, expiries and space use
• Drive continuous improvement in layout, processes and system use

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field
• 7+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role, ideally in FMCG distribution
• Proven people leadership in a fast-paced operation
• Good command of Arabic and English

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with WMS/ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and stock rotation for perishable goods
• Strong Excel and data reporting skills
