Assistant Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our finance team and support daily accounting operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with reporting for a leading fragrance brand.

Key responsibilities

• Record accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices.
• Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Perform reconciliations with retail stores and agents.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports.
• Monitor expenses, advances, and petty cash.
• Maintain and organize accounting records and documentation.
• Assist in inventory and fixed asset stocktaking activities.
• Support the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager in daily accounting operations and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Good analytical skills and awareness of costing and industrial costing.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
