BSS & Digital Business Architect

About the role

We are seeking a senior BSS & Digital Business Architect to define the customer, partner, commercial, billing and revenue‑management landscape for a new wholesale fibre operator in Syria. The role will shape the target BSS ecosystem, ensuring partner‑centric operations, commercial flexibility and scalable Order‑to‑Cash processes.

Key responsibilities

• Define BSS strategy, architecture and operating principles for a wholesale fibre network.
• Design target architectures for CRM, partner management, product catalogue, CPQ, order management, billing, revenue management, customer care and self‑service portals.
• Map end‑to‑end Lead‑to‑Order and Order‑to‑Cash processes and identify required business capabilities.
• Specify integration requirements between BSS, OSS, ERP, data platforms and external partners.
• Lead workshops on commercial, operational, billing, settlement and reporting requirements.
• Prepare RFIs, RFPs, technical specifications, SLAs, KPIs and evaluation criteria for BSS procurement.
• Participate in vendor evaluations, solution reviews and product demonstrations.
• Define BSS ownership model, governance structure and reporting framework.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing BSS architectures in telecommunications, preferably in wholesale or fibre environments.
• Proven knowledge of CRM, product catalogue, CPQ, order management, billing, charging, settlement and partner‑management solutions.
• Strong understanding of Order‑to‑Cash processes and OSS/BSS integration.
• Experience preparing procurement documentation and evaluating BSS vendors.
• Previous involvement in greenfield telecom launches is a plus.
