ERP & Enterprise Applications Architect

About the role

This six‑month consulting assignment supports a greenfield fibre network operator in Syria. The ERP & Enterprise Applications Architect will design the corporate application landscape that underpins finance, procurement, HR, payroll, asset and contract management, and internal reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall ERP and enterprise application strategy, including cloud‑first and SaaS‑first principles.
• Design the target architecture for finance, procurement, HR, payroll, asset management, contract management, document management and enterprise reporting.
• Conduct workshops with finance, procurement, HR, legal and other corporate functions to capture functional, technical, security and compliance requirements.
• Specify integration requirements between ERP, OSS, BSS, data platforms and identity systems.
• Prepare RFIs, RFPs, specifications, implementation scopes and service requirements for ERP procurement.
• Support vendor evaluations, demonstrations, solution assessments and partner selection.
• Define the ERP implementation roadmap, rollout approach, support model and application lifecycle framework.
• Establish governance processes and service‑performance KPIs for corporate applications.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in ERP and enterprise application architecture, preferably in a greenfield context.
• Strong knowledge of finance, procurement, HR, payroll, asset and contract management systems.
• Proven ability to design SaaS‑based, cloud‑first solutions and to define integration and data‑governance frameworks.
• Experience preparing RFPs and evaluating ERP products and implementation partners.
• Telecommunications sector experience is a plus.
