Data Analytics Engineer

About the role

The Data Analytics Engineer will join BeeOrder’s team in Damascus to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that turn raw operational data into clean, reliable datasets. You will create dashboards and reports that empower business, operations, and product teams to make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines for large‑scale operational data.
• Transform raw data into structured, high‑quality datasets for analytics consumption.
• Build interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics, analyze delivery performance, user behavior, and partner activity.
• Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance and scalability.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and proper documentation of analytics processes.
• Work with engineering teams to integrate data solutions into the BeeOrder platform.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience with relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT processes and scripting in Python or R.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Understanding of digital product metrics, marketplace or logistics analytics, and KPI development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English for documentation and collaboration; familiarity with the Syrian market is a plus.
