OSP Network Designer

About the role

The OSP Network Designer will lead the design and validation of outside‑plant (OSP) civil works and fiber network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business requirements, technical standards, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and update design surveys using ENE/GIS tools to meet project specifications and operational requirements.
• Review site survey reports for civil and fiber infrastructure, confirming accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve survey discrepancies and update network inventory.
• Develop civil and fiber‑optic network designs based on approved survey data and engineering guidelines.
• Prepare design layout plans, engineering drawings, route designs, and detailed documentation for installations.
• Generate, review, and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Create schematic designs for Fiber Junction Stations (FJS) and granite table layouts.
• Upload and maintain all design documents and approvals within ISOW platforms.
• Collect and validate As‑Built data, producing redline drawings and ensuring final records reflect field conditions.
• Support quality‑assurance reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives for OSP design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of telecommunications experience, including at least 5 years in OSP design and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of OSP civil works, fiber network infrastructure, and telecom deployment processes.
• Hands‑on experience with market‑leading OSP design and validation tools.
