Pharmacy Technician

About the role

The Pharmacy Technician will work within the pharmacy department of Almahaba Hospital in Afrin, supporting the delivery of safe and effective medication services to patients in the Aleppo countryside. Reporting to the supervising pharmacist, the role ensures accurate dispensing and proper handling of pharmaceutical products.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications to patients in accordance with prescriptions and the pharmacist’s instructions.
• Prepare, organize, and store medications and pharmaceutical supplies following established protocols.
• Monitor medication stock levels, track expiry dates, and assist in inventory replenishment.
• Maintain clean and orderly pharmacy work areas and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist the pharmacist with documentation and record‑keeping related to medication dispensing.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication handling.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions accurately.
• Capacity to work in a hospital environment and collaborate with healthcare staff.
