Outside Plant Engineer

About the role

The Outside Plant Engineer will lead OSP inspection activities across the region, ensuring that all field surveys and audits are carried out in line with project procedures and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage OSP inspection tasks performed by inspection teams.
• Ensure all survey and audit work follows agreed project procedures.
• Validate that site reports from quality survey and audit teams are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Monitor the performance of the quality inspection team and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Review site reports, identify discrepancies or technical issues, and escalate as necessary.
• Verify vendor and contractor work against specifications and report any deviations.
• Confirm the accuracy and quality of all documents and site reports submitted by contractors.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and the client to prepare acceptance schedules and related documents.
• Prepare weekly quality survey and audit progress reports for management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of telecommunications experience.
• University degree in Engineering or Telecommunications.
• Experience in deployment management and supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of reporting standards.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple requests and activities simultaneously.
