BIM Manager – Airport Construction

About the role

UCC Holding is seeking an experienced BIM Manager – Airside to lead BIM implementation and multidisciplinary digital coordination for the Damascus International Airport EPC Project. The successful candidate will manage BIM processes for airside construction packages, coordinate multidisciplinary models, lead clash detection and constructability reviews, manage BIM information workflows and support construction, commissioning and digital handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead BIM implementation for airside construction packages.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans and project BIM standards.
• Manage multidisciplinary Civil, Structural, MEP and specialist-system models.
• Lead model federation and clash detection, identifying and resolving design, spatial and construction interface issues.
• Support airside construction teams with coordinated BIM information.
• Coordinate Civil 3D, Revit and Navisworks workflows.
• Manage CDE and BIM information exchange.
• Support 4D/5D BIM integration where applicable.
• Coordinate BIM requirements with subcontractors and specialist airport contractors.
• Monitor model quality, compliance and revision control.
• Support as‑built modelling and digital project handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, MEP, Construction Engineering, BIM or related discipline.
• Strong experience with Revit, Navisworks and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (advantage).
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 principles (highly desirable).
• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience managing BIM teams, consultants, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• 12–15+ years of BIM experience on major infrastructure, airport or large‑scale construction projects.
