Business Development Specialist - Syria Market

About the role

Brand Aid, a multi-country marketing, advertising and production agency operating across 9 countries, is looking for a driven, results-oriented Business Development Specialist to grow its presence in the Syria market. The role suits someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and turning them into signed business across the agency's full range of services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across POSM, Events & Activations, Exhibitions, Luxury, Fit-Out and Retail.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals, pitches and pricing structures to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain a strong network of decision-makers and stakeholders in the market.
• Work closely with account management and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover and continued growth of new accounts.
• Track and report on pipeline status, conversion rates and revenue targets to management.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
• Represent Brand Aid at networking events, exhibitions and industry gatherings.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in advertising, marketing, events or related industries.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and building a strong pipeline.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Based in Syria.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of POSM, Events, Activations, Exhibitions, Luxury, Fit-Out and/or Retail.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
