Country Supply Chain & Operations Manager

About the role

The Country Supply Chain & Operations Manager leads Relief International’s supply chain and operational functions across Syria, ensuring that procurement, logistics, commodity management and support services are delivered timely, cost‑effectively and in line with donor and security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for the country’s Supply Chain & Operations department.
• Manage procurement, logistics, commodities and operations teams, fostering coordination between the country office and field locations.
• Develop and maintain budgets, monitor expenditures and ensure responsible stewardship of assets.
• Strengthen systems, controls and compliance mechanisms to mitigate operational risks.
• Support the design of scalable SCO structures and delegate leadership as programmes evolve.
• Contribute to strategic planning, proposal development, emergency preparedness and organizational growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing supply chain, procurement and logistics functions in humanitarian or development settings.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, security standards and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
