EMS/NMS Designer

About the role

The EMS/NMS Designer will create and implement management platform architectures for multi‑domain, multi‑vendor telecom networks. The role ensures that fault, performance, configuration, accounting and security management functions are fully integrated with NOC operations and OSS/BSS systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design EMS and NMS platform architectures covering IP/MPLS, DWDM, access and security domains.
• Produce high‑level and low‑level design documents (HLD/LLD) for network management solutions.
• Define management network topology, OOB interfaces and protocol stacks using NETCONF/YANG, SNMP, CLI and REST APIs.
• Develop fault‑management, configuration‑management and performance‑management frameworks, including alarm correlation, KPI collection and reporting.
• Design northbound integration layers with OSS/BSS, specifying REST, CORBA, TL1 or vendor‑specific adapters.
• Create NOC supervision dashboards, topology discovery, auto‑inventory and event‑correlation workflows.
• Establish vendor‑agnostic management standards, evaluate third‑party EMS/NMS platforms and coordinate with domain designers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, IT or Computer Science.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in EMS/NMS design and network‑management system integration.
• Strong knowledge of FCAPS principles and OSS/BSS integration.
