Executive Director - Airport Construction

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Executive Director to lead the Damascus International Airport EPC Construction Project. This senior position oversees the full lifecycle of major airport and infrastructure projects, from concept through completion and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage large‑scale, high‑value EPC construction projects for airport and aviation facilities.
• Oversee project planning, design management, construction execution, commercial management, quality, HSE, and overall project delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, EPC partners, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with international construction standards and HSE requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with developers, EPC contractors, and major international construction firms.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of leadership experience in construction and civil engineering.
• Proven track record delivering major airport, aviation, terminal, and large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline; professional engineering certification is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of project planning, design, construction, commercial, quality, and HSE management.
