About the role
The Independent Doctors Association (IDA) seeks a qualified midwife to join its humanitarian health team in the Northern Idlib countryside of Syria. Working under the supervision of a gynecologist and the medical director, the role focuses on delivering safe, natural obstetric care to displaced and host communities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide midwifery services for 6.5 hours per day, five days a week, following a prepared schedule.
- Coordinate with the gynecologist and medical director to ensure care aligns with certified obstetric standards.
- Deliver natural obstetric care under supervision, adhering to IDA’s protocols.
Required profile
- Willingness to work onsite in the Kely Alainaa area.
- Ability to collaborate with medical staff and follow scheduled duties.
