PRO & Permitting Specialist

About the role

The PRO & Permitting Specialist ensures that all permits and NOCs required for telecom infrastructure projects are submitted, tracked, and approved on time. The role acts as the main liaison between project teams and government, municipal and regulatory bodies to keep projects moving smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and follow up on permits and NOCs for OSP, ISP, data‑center and exchange implementations.
• Coordinate with municipalities, utility authorities and regulatory agencies to obtain timely approvals.
• Maintain structured trackers, logs and reports to monitor permit status, timelines and authority feedback.
• Resolve authority comments, rejections and compliance issues by working with engineering, design and field teams.
• Ensure all submission documents (drawings, BOQs, route maps, method statements) are complete and accurate.
• Support contractors and field teams with approved permits and authority clarifications.
• Manage relationships with government offices, utility companies and regulatory agencies.
• Renew expiring permits, NOCs and access approvals.
• Prepare regular permitting status reports for management and clients.
• Escalate critical delays and support mitigation plans.
• Align permitting timelines with project schedules in collaboration with Project Controls.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in permitting, regulatory compliance or project coordination within telecom or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, permitting procedures and authority guidelines.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with public authorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using ERP platforms and internal databases for permit tracking.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation such as drawings, BOQs and method statements.
