Retail & Restaurant Project Manager – Tenant Improvement

About the role

Pivotal Construction is looking for an experienced Retail & Restaurant Project Manager to lead tenant‑improvement projects for retail, QSR and restaurant clients. You will oversee each project from pre‑construction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage retail, QSR and restaurant construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and subcontractor coordination.
• Lead communication with clients, architects, engineers, vendors and field teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts and submittals.
• Coordinate permitting, procurement, inspections and project closeout.
• Track costs, change orders, RFIs and overall financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations and timelines.
• Collaborate with superintendents and field personnel to resolve issues proactively.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Strong background managing retail, QSR and restaurant projects.
• Proven ability to handle multiple fast‑paced projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

What we offer

• Salary range $130,000–$155,000 DOE.
• $2,500 vacation stipend after 6 months.
