Senior Manager – Transition Management Office (TMO)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the design and implementation of a Transition Management Office (TMO) for a major telecommunications provider in the Middle East. The role is based onsite in Syria and will work closely with a small team of senior consultants to establish the TMO operating model and core PMO processes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and set up the TMO operating model, including governance structures and cadence.
• Develop and maintain an integrated master plan covering all transition activities.
• Establish reporting, escalation, and risk & issue management frameworks.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Mentor and guide senior consultants and consultants throughout the engagement.

Required profile

• 6‑7+ years of experience for Senior Manager role; less than 6 years for senior consultants.
• Previous experience setting up or running a Transition Management Office or PMO.
• Strong background in the telecom sector, preferably within the Middle East region.
• Fluent Arabic language skills.
• Availability for a 6‑month assignment with possible extension to 12 months.
