Senior MEP Project Manager – Aviation & Telecom Systems

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing, ELV, telecom and specialist airport systems on a major EPC airport construction project in Damascus, Syria. The role involves full‑life‑cycle management from design coordination through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP, ELV, telecom and specialist systems throughout project execution.
• Coordinate aviation and telecom systems with civil, structural, architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, specifications, technical submissions, RFIs and method statements.
• Oversee installation, integration, testing, commissioning and handover of specialist systems.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and specialist subcontractors.
• Resolve technical issues, interface clashes and construction challenges.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, aviation requirements and quality/HSE procedures.
• Lead inspections, testing, integrated systems testing, snagging and final handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Telecom Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP, ELV, telecom and specialist systems.
• At least 8 years in a senior MEP Project Manager role on airport, aviation, transportation or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
