Technical Facilities Design Manager (Syrian Nationals Only)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Facilities Design Manager to lead the end‑to‑end design and engineering of telecom infrastructure facilities, including technical buildings, data centres, equipment rooms and associated power, cooling and grounding systems. The role ensures that all designs are compliant, resilient and aligned with project and technology requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design of technical buildings, equipment rooms, data centres and network hosting facilities.
• Develop and review High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) for all facility systems.
• Define civil and structural requirements for cable routing, duct banks, trenches and equipment foundations.
• Design AC/DC power distribution, UPS, battery bank and generator sizing with N+1/2N redundancy.
• Develop HVAC and precision cooling solutions, including hot/cold aisle containment and thermal load calculations.
• Specify grounding, bonding and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection measures.
• Create cable management and containment designs, and oversee MEP integration.
• Own design governance, review and approve drawings, and lead technical design review boards.
• Assess design risks, ensure mitigation, and approve engineering deliverables before construction.
• Lead technical evaluation of vendor solutions and participate in RFI/RFP assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading telecom facility design projects from concept to construction.
• Strong knowledge of international telecom facility standards (TIA/EIA, ASHRAE, IEC).
• Ability to coordinate with network domain teams and manage cross‑functional design reviews.
• Excellent risk assessment and governance skills.
