MEP Project Manager – Energy Efficiency & Retrofit Projects

About the role

The MEP Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and handover of multiple mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects focused on energy efficiency, performance contracts, and retrofits for large hotels, high‑rise towers, and other commercial facilities. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that all technical aspects comply with contract conditions, specifications, drawings, and BOQ.
• Ensure site work follows all technical submittals, authority regulations, and specifications.
• Supervise MEP subcontractors and coordinate material and installation approvals with clients and consultants.
• Manage subcontractor activities across all project phases.
• Track and control bid summaries, RFQs, LPOs, PDCs, L/Cs, and related documentation.
• Monitor progress and resource usage to meet schedule and budget targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Professional registration (MMUP Engineer – UPDA) or LEED certification.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in GCC projects is a plus.
