Senior Estimator

About the role

The Senior Estimator supports management throughout the pre‑tender phase, evaluating tenders, assessing risks, and producing reliable cost estimates for upcoming projects. This role ensures accurate material, equipment, and manpower forecasts to guide bid decisions and project budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Study, analyze and evaluate tender documents from a technical perspective to identify risk factors.
• Coordinate with design/drafting teams during tender preparation to optimize methods and achieve cost efficiency.
• Liaise with Procurement to negotiate with approved vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for project supplies (pre‑ and post‑tender).
• Finalize estimation of all direct and indirect costs and consolidate tender documents for management review and approval.
• Provide project clarifications and information to the Project Manager after award, aligned with the project budget.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals.
• Review final estimate packages for accuracy and completeness before formal quoting.
• Participate in pre‑bid meetings and corporate/client presentation meetings as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in estimating projects or relevant engineering roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
