Partnerships Coordinator – Humanitarian Programs

About the role

The Partnerships Coordinator will implement DRC Syria’s strategic framework to strengthen collaborations with local actors, authorities, civil society, the private sector and research institutions. This role will develop and coordinate the partnership approach, adapting tools and practices to the Syrian context and ensuring alignment with DRC’s global partnership principles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a strategic partnership framework for DRC operations in Syria.
• Identify, engage and maintain relationships with local NGOs, government bodies, private sector partners and research entities.
• Develop, adapt and improve partnership tools, guidelines and monitoring mechanisms to suit the local environment.
• Lead the localisation strategy, ensuring compliance with DRC’s global partnership and civil‑society engagement policies.
• Provide regular analysis and reporting on partnership performance and emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating partnerships in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong understanding of localisation principles and civil‑society engagement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a complex, conflict‑affected environment.
